Mercury & Lightning turns 6 years old today! I happened to finish this @johnmarkmcmillan piece only a few days ago. After reading his post on it, I think it's a good time to share. M&L is one of my favorite records, and it's what got me into listening to JMM in the first place. I think his creative fingerprint, especially on this record, is such a rising writhe, that I had to do something more colorful. The colors on that album cover set off the ol' synapses.
As usual, two versions because I'm a sucker for monochrome + pop of color.
